Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups mushrooms (cleaned and sliced)


  • 1 nos onion(minced)


  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 nos tomato


  • 12 nos cashewnuts(soaked)


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 2 nos cloves


  • 2 nos cardamoms


  • 1 tbsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder


  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder

Directions

  • Grind tomato and cashews seperately.
  • Fry cloves, cardamoms and make powder by crushing them.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds.
  • Once seeds splutter add onion, ginger-garlic paste and fry it until it is brown.
  • When oil separates add ground tomato.
  • When the oil leaves the tomato and onion mix, add coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric, ground powder made earlier, (cardamoms and cloves) and ground cashew nuts.
  • Now add mushrooms and salt. Reduce flame and cook, if required add little water to cook.
  • Garnish with dry methi leaves.
